... from the scourge of performance-enhancing drugs in baseball. I turned on the telly this morning, and what did I see but CNN broadcasting live (with a tag of "Happening now!"), the Congressional testimony of Roger Clemens. Glad our Congress is hard at work.

I note that the other networks were right on the ball on this important subject as well.

But I must have been in the bathroom the other day when they covered the FISA amendment debate gavel-to-gavel, including this, and when they played live the speech of Sen. Christopher Dodd on this subject last December.

Drugs in baseball? Horrors!!!
