Dubya explains it all!

Well, good thing we have The Decider to explain things to us.

According to Bloomberg.com:
Bush, making a hastily scheduled appearance at the White House, said the government is "fiercely'' protecting the privacy of ordinary citizens....
... by trying to get a "pen register" type wiretap on every phone line in the entire country....

Yes, indeedy. Now I feel better.

The phrase "ordinary citizens" of course taken to mean Bush supporters who don't read.

Are you aware that one of your old posts is being used to torture Loyola Law School (Los Angeles) students? It is part of the material they must use to write a paper for the competition to join law the school's Law Review. They can cite your post from 2005 about "exigent circumstances" for warrantless searches.
